Our Mary and Joseph are going to travel from household to household during advent. Their real journey to Bethlehem was a hard one, and they struggled to find shelter when they got there. We remember and pray for all those struggling to find shelter, comfort, food or hope on their physical or spiritual journeys. Mary and Joseph will travel in a bag, along with some woolly sheep, an advent candle and some prayers.  There will also be a note book in which people may (but don’t have to) write where Mary & Joseph stayed, who they met and any thoughts and prayers people feel like writing. Should you wish to host them, please email [email protected].

You are invited to choose a woolly sheep to keep. We hope that as many sheep as possible will gather around the stable at our candlelight, carol service on December 22nd at 6pm. Should you bring your sheep, you can take it home again afterwards.
